Acupressure

What is Acupressure?

Acupressure or Massage is one of the oldest forms of Chinese therapy.  It uses the hand to manipulate the meridian and acupuncture points.  Acupressure therapy helps use the pressure points from acupuncture but without the needles.  Typically, the acupressure practitioner would use their elbows, finger, and palms in order to add pressure to certain points on the body's meridians.

Why Acupressure?

Acupressure is used in order to help relieve pain, balance the bodies energy, and maintain health.  It allows for a decrease in muscle tension, increase in circulation, and enables more relaxation.  It helps against chronic muscular pain, mental stress, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, recovery from auto and sport accidents, and body pain (such as back pain).
